ENCAUSTICS
Recently, I have fallen in love with painting with pigmented wax, known as encaustics. The translucent quality of encaustics has brightened my palette. I have been experimenting with various application techniques and involving my own photographs by transferring them onto the surface. All of my encaustics are painted on 1/2" fiberboard with rusted metal frames.
